Page analytics, after you choose. A banner offers Accept or Essential only. On Accept, PostHog loads and records page views, clicks and other interactions, which sections of the page are read, and a session recording with typed input and page text masked; it also sets its own cookie and local storage entry. Until you choose Accept, PostHog does not load. Browsers that send Do Not Track are treated as Essential only.
Three settings kept in your browser. Your banner answer, your light or dark theme, and whether the page's sign-up prompt has been shown are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device, so the page remembers them on your next visit. Clearing your browser's site data resets all three.
Changing your answer. clears it, along with PostHog's cookie and local storage entry. The banner returns on your next visit to the home page.
Delivery and page speed. Cloudflare serves the site, its typefaces included, and processes each request to deliver it. On every visit, Cloudflare Web Analytics also reports how the page loaded, whatever you choose in the banner.
